They wanted me to create content for them – 5 photos for a sweet $550. Cha-ching! But, and there's always a but, I had to purchase their product with a 50% off discount code. A tiny red flag fluttered.

Now, I'm all for seizing opportunities, but the cautious little voice in my head started whispering, "Is this too good to be true?" I decided to dig a bit deeper and uncovered a tale of deception that sent shivers down my creative spine.

Mind you, I created stunning content, sent it over, and then – poof! Ghosted. Not a penny in sight. Smartly, I watermarked my pics, making it a tad trickier for the scammers. But I only found the bad reviews online after my pictures were already sent over.
